This is a map of precipitation in Idaho. The range of values across the state is certainly significant, generally from around ten to forty inches per year. In creating this map, I applied an Inverse Distance Weighting function to a data layer of point station values. That process resulted in interpolated values and distributed data over continuous space (within the bounds of Idaho).
