Map #2 (lab1) Percentage of population 18-21 years old.
This map indicates areas with a very young population, possibly an area with a University / College; a high percentage of the population is 18-21 years old.
New/adjusted map:
Changes: Adjust title, move and scale change of north arrow, cleaned up the scale bar, made the legend bigger and removed the percentage, and centered the map. Also, changed from 6 classes to 5, used geometric (with minor manual adjustment to have whole number values), changed color ramp.

Map #1 (lab1): Original (race majority in Buffalo)

This map is meant to show which areas of Buffalo have a population majority which is either: White, Black or Hispanic.

New/adjusted map:
Changes: Rename/new title, increased scale and moved to center, redesigned scale bar, added boarder around legend area, and increased font size of text box.
